Ability Indiana / INARF Art Display at
Indianapolis Airport Civic Plaza

The Indianapolis Airport Authority, in partnership with INARF and Ability Indiana, once again celebrated artists with disabilities with a temporary art exhibit in the Indianapolis International Airport last year. During this second annual event, the creativity and passion of artists from across the state of Indiana were on full display as the organizations that provide services to individuals with disabilities were recognized during National Developmental Disability Awareness Month.

The grand opening reception was held on March 14, 2024, and featured many of the artists and special guests, including Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett. The art exhibit remained on display through April 30, 2024.

Picture
Brad and the team at Stall and Kessler’s collaborated to create this stunning piece cast in white gold. Notice the fine details in the piece that are Brad’s signatures including a small cross, keyhole, and eyes. These symbols all relate to how Brad creates and how he moves through the world. Brad incorporates eyes into most of his work because we often think about enjoying the beauty surrounding us with our eyes, but we can see in other ways too. The keyhole relates to all of us having something special inside to offer to the world, and in many cases, we all just need a little faith to unlock our secret and powerful potential.
